SOMETHING HERE THAT SOUNDS COOL AF MAYBE….

The areas of architecture that I find most fulfilling are connected to the idea that architecture can be the catalyst of experience. I want to create environments that encapsulate the curiosity of the users and transport them into another dimension of connection. To do this, the architecture must be practiced through a multidisciplinary lens as it considers site forces, theme, light, color, program, structure, and access. A thoughtful, design-based decision-making that examines as many possibilities as possible before committing to the final version. Learning from the weaknesses of one idea and strengthening the strengths of another. If done correctly, this multidisciplinary approach to design will respond to the needs of individuals, and communities. Cultures, and the environment.

These decisions are based on careful and detailed investigation and research with respect to historical knowledge and factual documentation. Decisions will employ my own experience and cultural heritage as a means for decision-making and collaboration, further cultivating relationships with creative partners in the process. My own perspective along with others will invite a conversation to design collaboratively and considerately, to enrich environments, and develop opportunities for users to experience space beyond the visual and physical.

The work demonstrated in this portfolio demonstrates my efforts to connect my architectural ideas back to the realm of experience. Utilizing the core identities of these projects, each one relates to a thematic experience that enables users to be immersed in the project area while allowing them to make meaningful connections to the project itself.
